On November 11th, we had our annual Veterans Day Memorial Service. At seven o’clock in the morning, local scout troops as well as families came out to place flags at every grave in our Veterans Cemetery. Later on in the morning, we held our annual service. Our guest speaker was Medal of Honor recipient Staff Sergeant Ty Michael Cater.
Special thanks to all participants of the program, in addition to the members of the Scout troops, veterans, and families who assisted with the placing of flags and the distribution of programs, and to the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force veterans, civic organizations and auxiliaries who joined in the Parade of Colors.
