Vivian passed away on 21 May 2012, with complication after bypass surgery.
Born December 31, 1933 in Middleboro, MA to Albert Sumner Perkins and Mary Theresa Cabral, she leaves behind son Michael Sircello and his wife Gayle; siblings Cynithia Maltias, Albert Perkins, Nancy Sullivan, Theresa Perkins; grandchildren Rhachelle Viney, Erica Sircello; and great grandchild Bianca Sircello.
Vivian enlisted in the US Navy and served as a Teleman 3rd Class in the Communications Dept. at Pier 91 Seattle during the Korean War. She then raised her family in MA and returned to the Seattle area.
She joined the American Legion Service Girls Post 204, an all-female post, in 1984 and faithfully served as Commander and District Commander numerous times for 32 years. Her specialty was teaching flag education to third graders.
Inurnment servicese are scheduled for Friday, July 27, 2012 at 10:00am at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042.
