Dale O. Magden

Dale O. Magden, born Oct. 8,1929 went home to his Lord Oct. 30,2012.

Dale began working at age 13 in his home town of Mountain Home, ID. He became an iron worker and metallurgist. He traveled the world on construction projects. He helped build oil refineries in So. America, cranes in Hawaii and buildings in Hanford,WA. Waterfront cargo cranes brought him to Seattle where he settled with his wife Ramona, son Dale K. and daughter Dianne.

Dale & Ramona raised their grandson Danny. They were very involved in the lives of their grandchildren Tricia, Michael, Christi and Sheri Buck of Bothell,WA

Dale was a devoted Leader in the Boy Scouts of America from 1960 when his son joined and again when grandson Danny joined.

Dale's retired years were spent traveling, playing with his classic Model A Fords and working with the Boy Scouts of America at Camps Omache, Brinkley and Sheppard. Scouting and many other charities were important to him.

Dale also knew and loved his great grandchildren, Ethan, Olivia and Miles.

A celebration of Dale's life will be held at Evergreen/Washelli Funeral home, 11111 Aurora Ave. North,Seattle on Saturday Nov. 10,2012 at 2p.m. Reception to follow.

Funeral service on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2:00pm in Evergreen Washelli Chapel with reception following in the Celebration Hall.
