Pete graduated from Ballard High School in 1958. He served as a LCpl in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959-1963, stationed at Camp Pendleton. He moved his family back to Seattle and started his lifelong career as a floorlayer. He was a member of the Floorcovering Assoc. Union, Local 1238 and owned Scandia Installations. He also owned the 7th Avenue Tavern in Ballard during the ‘80s. Pete was a faithful patron of Daverthumps Pub for many years.
Pete is survived by his son Curt and wife Heather, grandchildren Jacob and Nicole; life-partner Arliss Garris; brother Ken and wife Angela, nephews Andrew and Chris. Preceded in death by son Craig, and his parents Russell and Maxine.
Funeral Information
No services. Pete’s son invites family and friends to gather in celebration of his life on Sat. Oct 2nd from 2-4pm at Rob’s 125th ST Grill 12255 Aurora AV N Seattle.
