Judith Ann Guich
May 03, 1944 - February 09, 2014
Our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend died at home surrounded by loved ones. Judie was born in Nevada City, CA to John and Jean Snyder. She grew up in southern California graduating from UCSB. In 1968 Judie married John and became the very proud parents of Meredith, Anthony, and Elissa (Erik). Nothing made Judie happier than spending time with her loved ones; especially her children and grandsons - Michael and Aidan.
Judie had that special knack of being everyone's friend. She was an amazing listener and offered a loving, non-judgmental ear to anyone. Her unconditional love and support was an amazing gift. Judie had a thirst for knowledge and was always an avid reader. She took great joy in tending to her gardens and appreciated the beauty of the changing seasons.
Our lovely Judie was taken from us far too soon after a short and courageous battle with cancer. The family would like to thank all of the wonderful caring staff at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (NWH) and Providence Hospice for their kindness and support during Judie's illness.
Judie is survived by her husband, children, grandsons, numerous family members, and friends. She is deeply loved and will be missed every day until we meet again.
A Memorial Mass will be at St. Luke Parish (322 N 175th St., Shoreline, WA) on Friday, February 14th at 11:00 AM followed by a celebration of Judie's life at the Nile Shrine Center (6601 244th St SW, Mountlake Terrace, WA) from 1:00 pm - 3:00 PM.
