Anthony Tony K. Burkhardt July, 10, 1982 - July, 08, 2005

We invite family and friends to sign the guestbook

From:  Mary Kammeyer

I remember a darling little red-headed boy with his equally darling cousin, Aaron, sitting on Great Uncle Fred's lap. Tony shared a birthday with Uncle Fred and that was a really neat thing to his uncle. Those two were the cutest boys I'd ever seen, and I knew Tony would grow up to be a handsome young man. I love it when I'm right - Tony grew up Exceedingly Handsome. He's a funny, intelligent young man who will be greatly missed. But his promise is not diminished because he's not here - it will just be fulfilled elsewhere. And someday he'll welcome all of us home.

As painful as a departed child is, the knowledge that you and Tony will be together some time in the future shows the divine love of our Savior.

I met him once and was really impressed with his enthusiasm for life. I can only express my deepest condolences for a loss that is unfathomable. Our prayers are with you.

We'll always remember Tony as the young toddler with beautiful red hair and a wonderful friendly smile who played along side his young friends in the BCC Baby Group.

Actually, this is Mary, Karl's sister writing on his behalf. I wanted you to know what he said when he got home from the funeral. Karl and Dad called me in Utah, and I asked how the funeral was. Karl said, "I never met Tony but, my, what a fine young man. Sometimes the Lord sends a radiant spirit amongst us that no matter how long they're here, it isn't long enough. And when they leave, they leave a gaping whole."

Just thought you should know that, Suzanne. love you, the Kammeyers

Looking into the portals of eternity

Looking into the portals of eternity teaches that the brotherhood of man is inspired by God's word; Then all prejudice of race vanishes away.
